At the Rotary Club of Chestermere, we believe that the strength of our club lies in the strength of our connections. Our Member Sponsorship Program is designed to ensure every new member feels welcomed, supported, and empowered to make a difference from day one.

What is Member Sponsorship?

Sponsorship begins the moment a prospective member is vouched for during the review process. Once inducted, that relationship evolves into a formal partnership. The Member Sponsor acts as a mentor, guide, and "Rotary navigator" for the New Member, ensuring a smooth transition into our culture of service.

Roles & Responsibilities

Success in Rotary is a collaborative effort. Both the sponsor and the new member play vital roles in building a lasting impact.

Integration

Introduce the new member to all club members and committees.

Attend weekly meetings and actively network with the group.

Education

Explain Rotary International’s structure and our local club’s history.

Complete the "New Member Orientation" and ask questions.

Participation

Invite and accompany the member to their first service project.

Join at least one committee within the first three months.

Guidance

Help the member navigate "The Four-Way Test" in action.

Share fresh perspectives and ideas for club improvement.
