Empowering the Next Generation: Rotary Youth Services

At the Rotary Club of Chestermere, we believe that when you empower a young person, you change the future of a community. Through our local initiatives and our connection to Rotary International, we provide youth with the tools, mentorship, and platforms they need to lead, serve, and thrive.

A Global Movement, A Local Impact

Rotary International serves more than 350,000 young leaders annually through a variety of life-changing programs. In our own region (District 5360), we focus on building resilience and leadership through:

• Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA): An intensive leadership experience where students develop skills through community-building and professional mentorship.

• Rotary Youth Exchange: A program that fosters global peace by allowing students to live and study in another country, gaining a truly international perspective.

• Interact Clubs: Service-based clubs for youth ages 12–18 that allow them to tackle local issues while developing a "Service Above Self" mindset.

Rotaract: Leadership for Young Professionals

One of the most dynamic parts of our Rotary family is Rotaract. Designed for young adults aged 18 and older, Rotaract clubs are where "action meets impact."

Rotaract members are true partners in service. They manage their own clubs, choose their own projects, and work alongside the Rotary Club of Chestermere to address local challenges. Whether you are a university student or just starting your career, Rotaract offers a unique professional network and a chance to lead meaningful community change.
