Trellis Society and Chestermere

Nyala is a family and youth resource network specialist at the Trellis Commons in Strathmore. She has a passion for helping newcomers, vulnerable populations and families in the community. Her experience involves working with immigrants, refugees, at risk youth, seniors and people of ethnic diversity. Her background is in social work, where she practices from evidence, strength-based, client-centered perspective. When she is not working, she is spending time with her family and friends, htting the gym, or outdoors enjoying nature. She is excited to be apart of the Trellis team!
