Mingling and bingoing happened at the Not-For-Profit Committee Mixer on August 13. Acquaitances were renewed, friends were made, conversations of hope were shared. Despite the rain, the group ate the tasty appetizers, drank the punch, and chatted in a beautiful home.
The Not-for-Profit Committee Mixer was a success for everyone. It was social. It was casual. It was a good way to unwind and celebrate the good work the not-for-profit committee does in the community of Chestermere.
The connection bingo kept everybody circulating and asking questions. Mardi Oel won first prize, Atma Singh Gill took second prize, and Michell Evans secured third prize. To finish the night, Janak Singh would take home the door prize.
Sonja Leduc was a magnificent host at her wondrous house providing food and drinks aplenty. Special thanks to A. Leduc Developments for sponsoring the food and event.
The Rotary Club of Chestermere and the Chestermere Lakefront Owner's Association look forward to hosting next year's Not-For-Committee Mixer. If interested in contributing to planning, be sure to reach out to Sonja Leduc (president@clfoa.com) or Carey Hilgartner (president@rotarychestermere.org).
